MNPSA Annual Conference
Each November, the Minnesota Political Science Association hosts a conference centered around topics of interest in the field of political science. The conference requires registration, but is open to anyone who is, or has been, activily engaged in political science; especially those who teach it. Typically the conference is held on the Saturday following Election Day in November. Past conferences have featured keynote speakers such as senatorial candidate Al Franken, U.S. Senator Dave Durenberger, and former APSA president Susanne Rudolph. There are typically three discussion panels chaired by MNPSA members on current topics of interest in the field. The MNPSA conference is also pleased to host a Student Poster Session that showcases the research of exceptional undergraduate political science students.
